    3. On page 159 of the History of Lincoln County there is an article on Grand Army of the Republic it refers to new in the Chandler News dated December 24, 1903. If I were you I would get a copy of this article. There is also information from the Meeker Herald dated December 29, 1904, page four, col. 3, it mentions I.H. Foster (deceased). Appears Foster was a vetern of the Civil War. No, there are no other web sites to my knowledge with more info. There are more pages about the Land Run on the OK genweb pages...at http://marti.rootsweb.com/land/oklands.html Like the land owner's list page says, you need the section number, township and range, then you can write to the Lincoln Co. courthouse for info on that parcel. I've seen these, and there are a large number of entries for each one. They probably won't copy them but may give you a line for each transaction for a few years. -- John K. 2. Dear Marie, I am looking also for information about Lewis Estes, he was supposedly one of my grandmothers cousins. Him and Henry were related in so way or another according to my grandmother Goldie Ray Estes but she is no longer with us to ask, I just remember that she told me that Lewis and Henry babysat her and she went to visit them in the Stroud jail. Her father was Alfred Perry Estes. How are we related?
