Box as he may be the only person left that may be able to help me trace my paternal grandfather (I don't even know his name). I have very little information on Glyn, all I know is that he was stationed around Knutsford, Cheshire, England between 1942-1944. His wifes name was Kathleen and he came from Oklahoma. He was supposed to be the best friend of my grandfather and I would very much like to get in contact with him or his family. Thanking anyone who can help me in advance (even if it is only by checking your counties telephone directory) - Ronald Cox.

My grandfather is on the list and he did not make the run. . . he bought the land in 1899. The List of First Land Owners was part of a promotion put on by the Chandler newspaper and/or Historical Society in 1903 and is only a list of the people who owned the land in 1903. The county clerk's office at the court house in Chandler has all the land records -- we found the deed for the land my grandfather bought in 1899 and I believe that they have all records dating back to 1891. You'll be able to find the original records there to ascertain when your ancestors obtained title to the land Go to http://www.rootsweb.com/~okgenweb/twpmaps/lincoln.html and there are township maps of Lincoln county, showing the section/range. The sections and ranges are the same now as they were in 1900.
Great Map. Would anyone know if there are maps like this for the other counties in OK? Lois in Auburn, CA

Now I can't find that cemetery listed among those of Lincoln County. Could it be what is now the Kellerby Cemetery? Or has it been abandoned? I know this cemetery once existed because, as a small child, my father took me to see the stone. It read "Jim Hutchison," and it was flat on the ground. Can anyone advise? Thanks.
