James Lewis Getman died Jan 25 1936 in Kendrick, Lincoln Co OK. He is buried In a cemetery Stroud, although I don't know which one. Emma Spencer Getman died June 2 1920 in Kendrick and is also buried in a Stroud cemetery. Can anyone help me to locate an obit for James and Emma as well as the cemetery that they are buried in? Looking for information about my REED family that lived in Lincoln County, Osage Township. John Reed and Rebecca Jane Dodson Reed moved to that area after 1890. Know they were alive after 1900. Son Pleasant C. Reed and Lamanda raised their family in Lincoln moving to Arkansas City, Kansas by 1910. Any information would be welcome. Rick Reed
Hi Debbie,this is Marie and i,am the one that put it on the lincoln county site about uncle charlie hobbs,he lived with uncle john in their little house out by Claude and Mable hobbs,uncle charlie was born 1908 and died 1965,in chandler,buried at new zion cemetery where uncle john and uncle jim and norris is buried at,i was told just recent that uncle charlie was married to a girl while in texas,so i was to find that marriage on him,that is where he got hit by a train and got his leg cut off,he is a brother of uncle john and uncle orvil,when uncle charlie lost his leg this woman told him she wanted a whole man and left him, later,,,,,,,marie
