Married to James Lee Pebsworth in the Chickasaw Nation in 1905 at the age of 18. Gave birth to a son in "Ada", May 1908, possibly as a "single" parent. Could have lived with a family member name Reeder or friend. Annie would have been 21 at the time of the birth, she was born in 1887. Have heard she could have been of Cherokee decent. Also could have used the name of Radker. Any information will be appreciated.

    1. [OKLINCOLN] From List Mom: Regarding Oklahoma Survey and Virtual Cemetery website.
    2. Kathleen Burnett
    3. Dear List Members, just a reminder to those new members who don't know and those of us older members who have forgotten; if you have not visited the Oklahoma Survey and Virtual Cemetery web site lately, you need to. This is becoming one of the best Oklahoma Cemetery research sites on the web. http://www.rootsweb.com/~okcemete/okcem.htm Tammie Chada the Web Mistress and her many devoted volunteers spend hours and hours resurveying cemeteries to make sure the surveys are up to date and correct and taking photos of thousands of tombstones. They give of their time and talents because of their love of Oklahoma, it's history and those who lived and died there. I don't even want to think of the spiders, snakes, chiggers they have run into. If you have a survey, full or partial and or photos of your ancestors graves, or Oklahoma Obits and would like them added, they will be accepted gladly. Do not worry if your information might be a duplication, in this world of research, duplication only mean that we are coming closer to seeing the complete picture. Enjoy this free site and send any comments you might have regarding what you would like to see added to me, KathleenBurnett@earthlink.net and I will forward them on to Tammie and her wonderful Volunteers. 1. [OKLINCOLN] From List Mom Regarding:Influx Of New Online Genealogy Enthusiasts
    2. Kathleen Burnett
    3. Dear List Members, It is that time of year again when we suddenly will have an influx of new online genealogy enthusiasts with their holiday gift computers that are usually newer and faster than what many of the rest of us have. For a great many of them, it will be their first time online. Some of them will make mistakes and some may (will) unintentionally do things and write things that may be irritating to us and against what we have set up as our list rules. Please take this into consideration in advance and be helpful to them. If things get out of hand, know that I am behind the scenes taking care of the problems. Just remember, one of these new members might hold the clue you have been searching for. Let us not discourage them before they have a chance to learn how this works. I would like also to take this time to wish each of you and yours a wonderful and safe Holiday Season. Kathleen Burnett List Mom

Between you and another wonderful lady who is a descendant of the Key line you mentioned in that reunion, I now know who several of the Key mentioned in the land records were. The only ones that she was unable to identify were the Sally Keyes and H. Keyes mentioned on the land records. And because an elder relative of ours says he remembers visiting Keyes family that lived near the Chandler area when he was a kid, this is another reason that I am trying to identify who all these Key/Keyes were. He said that he remembers going through Oklahoma City to get to it on the northeast side. So little to go on but worth following. Thank you for your help and any further assistance that you might be able to give. Sincerely, Sandra

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/HaB.2ACI/329.1 Message Board Post: Sandra, there were several families who came to Lincoln Co., Ok. from Crawford County, Missouri for the 1891 land run (my ancestors were among them: Pidcock, Martin, Bullock, Kelly). In 1905 a Chandler Ok (Lincoln Co.) newspaper reports a reunion of some of these families. Among the Keys present were: J. (Jeremiah) Key, S. A. Key, J. T. Key, A. E. Key (likely Jeremiah's sons: Samuel Andress, John T., and Alemeda E.) On the 1870 Crawford Co., Mo. census is the family of Lewis Key which includes an 11 yr. old son, William. Not sure if there is a connection here - don't know when your William was b. I would definitely research the Crawford Co., Mo. census for the origin of your Lincoln Co. Keys. Hope this helps.
