    3. Subject: The Family Genealogist A modern mother was explaining to her little girl about pictures in the family photo album. The mother said, "This is the geneticist with your surrogate mother and here's your sperm donor and your father's clone. This is me holding you when you were just a frozen embryo." "Who is that?" asked the daughter. "Oh," answered the mother, "The lady with the very troubled look on her face is your aunt. She's the family genealogist!"

    1. [OKLINCOLN] Historic Moment in Time
    2. chaplain
    3. Believe it or not but 8:02pm on February 20 this year will be a historic moment in time. It will not be marked by the chiming of any clocks or the ringing of bells, but at that precise time, on that specific date, something will happen which has not occurred for 1,001 years and will never happen again. As the clock ticks over from 8:01pm on Wednesday, February 20, time will, for sixty seconds only, read in perfect symmetry 2002, 2002, 2002, or to be more precise - 20:02, 20/02, 2002. This historic event will never have the same poignancy as the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month which marks Armistice Day, but it is an event which has only ever happened once before, and is something which will never be repeated. The last occasion that time read in such a symmetrical pattern was long before the days of the digital watch and the 24-hour clock at 10:01am on January 10, 1001. And because the clock only goes up to 23.59, it is something that will never happen again.

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/HaB.2ACI/293.1.1 Message Board Post: I don't have any Clarence in my lines, but that doesn't mean he isn't one of my great grandfather's relatives we don't know about. I'd be glad to share what I have with you. My ggrandfather lived south and west of Carney. I have the original land grant issued by Theodore Roosevelt. He had some brothers we don't know anything about, but I think I've found two of them in Canada. My greatgrandfather came to Ok from Canada, via Sterling Michigan. If any of this sounds like it might help, just let me know and I'll tell you all I can. Mary Ann (Gardner) Riggins
