He came from Heard Co., GA with mother Clarissa, brother Benjamin and sister Clarissa Ann and appears on the 1880 Census for Slaem, Sebastion Co., AR. Family moved to Fanshaw, LeFlore Co., Ok about 1896 and Raleigh's wife, Harriet Ellen McClure Moon was the 1st postmistress. Believe Raleigh owned a drugstore in Fanshaw. BElieve his sister Clarissa Ann and mother Clarissa moved to Ok with Raleigh. Apparently mother Clarissa Moon applied for land in Poteau in 1891. BElieve mother and sister buried in or near Fanshaw. Raleigh G. Moon moved to Abbott, Scott Co., AR and appears on the 1910 Census (his wife died before the census), Raleigh died in Dec. 1911 in Abbott, AR and is buried with his wife at Union Ridge Cem.
