I am new to the list so hope some kind soul out there can help me. I am looking for the burial place of my grandfather John "Jack" Walter Moran. He was born in 1863/64 in Ireland and died 10/8/1935. I have the death certificate which indicates that he died in Fort Smith, Ark and buried in Poteau. I believe that he may have been buried in a small coal mining town near Poteau or it could have been in Poteau. I have done some research of county records but have not been able to locate where he was buried. Does anyone out there in Leflore County have any information on John Walter Moran? I believe that he was a coal miner who moved from Sebastian Co., AR to Leflore Co. He may have remarried someone there. Rose [email protected]
