Gary; My great grandfather, Mack Franklin's Civil War Pension papers document their move from Crawford County Arkansas to Indian Territory. He gave his address as: Oak Lodge, Skullyville, Indian Territory. (1890) Later that year, it is listed as Cameron, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory. Later, his address was listed as: Poteau, Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory. (1905) I would think that if you gave the name of the town and Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory, then you can add a footnote as to the current county and state. that is what I do. Somewhere on this board, someone gave the link to the 1895 map of Indian Territory. Can someone list that again? Catch you later, Bev _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8: smart spam protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
