One of her daughters, Carrie May, twin to William, born May 8, 1889, in Howe, OK is my ggrandmother. I don't think it should be Oklahoma. My question is this-My information shows Amanda passed away in 1894. Buried Mountain View Cemetery, Glendale, Le Flore County, OK. After it became a stae then this would be right. In 1894 was there such a place as Le Flore county and also it was not Oklahoma yet. What would be the proper way to write this down? This area was known as Indian territory right? The information I also have is that this cemetery is behind a church next to a dam? and the town of Glendale no longer exists ? I do have a picture of her headstone, I just want to get the right location for it. Thank you !
