Hi Everyone, I'm new to the list. I'm trying to find the burial place for Mary Magleen (full info below). We think it was in LeFlore County, but don't know where, could have been in the area surrounding Poteau. Also looking for the burial place of 2nd husband John C. BUTLER. He is not listed in the Talihina Cemetery, but is listed as dying there. Also looking for the grave of Jennie May (Butler) COPELAND (dau. by John Butler). Since dau. by Mary's 3rd marriage is buried next to her father, I'm hoping that Jennie May is buried with her father (wherever that is??).. Mary lived in Indian Territory for a good part of her life. In the 1910 census she stated that she had 8 children with 3 living. That accounted for Alice Ann (by 1st marriage) & Barsha (by 3rd marriage), since Jennie May was already deceased this leaves at least 1 child (Identity Unknown). There is a family story that Alice Ann told her children that her mother, Mary lost a husband & several children in some sort of Natural Disaster in Indian Territory. Does anyone know anything about that?? Could have been around Talihina in 1887??
