You might check out McCurtain, OK. It is in Haskell County, but Bokoshe is only a few miles from Bokoshe. There were several mines operating, and several really bac explosions and loss of life. ----- Original Message ----- From: "The Donathan's" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, October 01, 2002 10:07 AM Subject: Re: [OKLEFLORE] Mine Cave In I have a copy of Fatal Causalties in Coal Mines, By Districts, During Fiscal Year 1 July 1931 to 30 June 30, 1932. The article lists District Nos., Name, Age, Occupation, Residence, Name of Operation, No. or name of Mine, Single, Married, Widow, Children, and Cause of Death. One of my relatives gave me this article. There is a Mining Board for this, but I don't know where you might locate the address of this board. There are not many miners on this listing I have, but I will be glad to check for names.
