Bonnie, Crenshaw was the maiden name of my gr-gr-grandmother--Mary Frances Crenshaw b. Oct. 25, 1854 AR. d. June 6, 1899 OK. The only surname I have her connected to is Isaac John Allen WARFORD, my gr-gr-grandfather. They were married on the 1870 Scott Co. AR. census. I haven't been able to document her parents. She was said to be full or 1/2 Cherokee. I have info about her and my grandfathers children, all the way to the present time, but nothing before 1870. They migrated to Cowlington, OK. abt 1892 and resided in Leflore Co. most of the time after that. The Aynes surname sounds familiar, but I don't have anyone at this time by that name. But, I really don't have much info relating to her. I have found a Mary Frances Crinshaw on the 1860 Scott Co. Washborn Twp. AR.census. She was living with a James W. Furguson family. Other Crenshaw's living in the area were Thomas, Ephriam, Edmond. (Hickman Twp.) I have no idea why she would be living with another family. I am leaning towards Thomas being her father. He is said to have been married twice. Both wives were named Mary. Do you have any info connected to these Crenshaw's? I would live to talk some more with you about a possible connection. Thanks for the Pinnell Cem. look up, Judy. Barb
