Barbara, I have a cemetery book of Wister, Leflore Co. , Ok. It lists a Kennedy Cemetery located northwest of Wister, OK. It covers one page in the book but lists no Kennedy family names. It is mostly McAlvain and relations. There are 2 Elliots, 1 Bullard and one Johnson, the rest are McAlvain's. I donot know if there is another Kennedy Cemetery in Leflore Co. Eula ( Wooton ) Jones

Thank you, Judy, for the cemetery lookups. I appreciate it very much. I have several family members buried at LeFlore with stones marking their burial plots. I didn't remember ever seeing a marker for Clearcy, but I didn't know of her until lately. Pat Faulkner researching Wyatt, Mings, & Howard

Hi Teresa I tried calling the care taker of New Hope Cemetery but i did not get a answer. Dale Stout his home number is 918-962-3853. his work number is 918-962-9471 . he keeps a book of all the records at work, so try to catch him at work. once you find the location i would be more than happy to take a photo of it for you. becky Earl Hearon wrote: > Would some one help this woman > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "thesteeles" <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Monday, July 29, 2002 12:38 AM > Subject: Cemetery New Hope > > My name is Teresa. I am interested in information concerning the Shull family. The only first name I have is Myrtle who is my grandmother. She was born in 1884 near Cameron in LeFore county. She married in 1903 in Fletcher so I assume all or some of the Shull family moved to Commanche county around that time. Anyone with information about the Shull family please contact me at: [email protected]

Surnames: Self, Dewitt, Sherrill, Young Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/GaB.2ACI/11788 Message Board Post: I am desperatley searching for information Lonnie Dave Dewitt. All I know is that he was born on Feb. 8, 1911 and died Aug 18, 1978 in Cameron, Leflore Co. Oklahoma. He was married to Myrtle Neoma Ward, who was born Oct. 13, 1913 in Williams, Leflore Co., Oklahoma. She is still living. They had 10 children. I know they married abt. 1930, but can find no record of this. He is either buried at New Hope Cem. or Fairview? Cem. I need to know who his parents are, where he was born, an exact marraige date, and possibly, what he did for a living. I have desperately searched for this information for almost 10 yrs now, with no luck. Some family members say his name was Lonnie Cline at birth, and then he changed it to Dewitt, for reasons nobody in the family will tell me. If anyone will, or can help me solve this mystery, it would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to email me at [email protected] with any questions you may have, or for any further info I might be able to provide. Thank you, Cindi [email protected]
