>>I am researching a BLASS family, who I found in the 1920 OK Census in Kay >>County. Further research revealed the parents being buried in the Plain >>View Cemetery, described as "3 miles N. of Brahman." >> >>I have two questions: 1) Does this cemetery still exist? If so, what is >>it called now? ( I can't find it by the name Plain View). Hi, Corey The only cemetery I have listed for Braman is the Braman cemetery at 365540N 0971834W. Braman is so close to the Kansas border, could the cemetery be in that state? I also checked the NCOHS book for BLASS and did not find a reference. I would suggest you check with the Pioneer Genealogy Society (P.O. Box 1965, Ponca City, OK 74602-1965) or with NCOHS at http://www.poncacitynews.com/community/localhistory/genhis/ncoha/ or http://www.health.state.ok.us/program/vital/brec.html , which tells you who can get a birth certificate & the fees. You can print a blank application fee from a link on the Kay County web site http://www.rootsweb.com/~okkay/okkay.htm Harriette
