G’day from Australia, My grandmother’s surname McGREGG now no longer exists, anywhere! The last McGregg died in Scotland in 1972. Naturally I’m interested in any occurrence of the name. I came across an account of a Buck McGREGG being shot dead by a posse in Blackwell OK on the 4th December 1896. Is there anyone out there who would have knowledge of this incident, would the local newspaper give a clue as to Buck McGregg’s background. Appreciate any help in this matter.
