My great-grandfathers name was Abe Patchin.He was married to Fannie Jean Yerber.Their children were Bertha (married a William or Bill Owens), Fred Lee Patchin (married Cordila Tompkins),Charlie,Freeman(married Lillie Melvia Tompkins),and Homer. It is said that Abe came from France with at least 3 brothers.They were Joe,Marthie Wayson,and Alphie Harrison Patchin.I was told that Joe was in a census for Blackwell,OK. of Kay County.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank You

Linda - I don't have any personal knowledge about this family; however I checked through the book - Kay County, Ok Cemetery Inscriptions published by the Pioneer Genealogical Society of Ponca City, Okla, for anyone with the surnames of Patchin and Yerber - none found. Also I checked the 1998 regional Kay County Telephone directory - no one listed with those surnames. Hopefully someone on the list will recognize the names from their lines.
