    3. Jane - nice hearing from you, and to hear that you enjoyed my Web Site Yes - I mentally thank Great-Grandpa everyday for saving so many things Of course my husband grunchs as I inherited that trait of "saving" from both Grandpa and from my Father - so our house tends to get full and messy. I have a lot more to add, but I don't know how, and my daughter hasn't learned how yet. You may have noticed from the message of mine that you read, that the book, Cemetery Inscriptions, Kay County, Oklahoma, published by the Pioneer Genealogical Society of Ponca City, Okla, is not indexed. The names in each cemetery are alphabetical, so every person with a certain name may not be related, or buried in the same plot, etc. The persons doing the various surveys did make notations of relationships that help. BLACKWELL IOOF Cemetery - in south part of town. Alfred Kersey Jul 19 1866 Jan 15 1945 Albert H Kersey Apr 14 1833 Jan 9 1901 Caroline Kersey Mar 2 1832 Jan 30 1926 Hattie M Kersey Dec 5 1874 Jul 8 1917 Kelly J Kersey Jul 18 1866 Nov 1 1942 Minnie S Kersey Aug 31 1870 Feb 20 1942 I did not find any Regnier in the Blackwell Cemetery so I checked all the other cemeteries for any other Kerseys and/or Regniers and had some success. = = = = = == NEWKIRK Cemetery - 2 miles north on Highway 77, cross over RR to the right. 3. Catherine - only the two are listed - but remember, the book, Cemetery Inscriptions, Kay County, Okla, was published in 1978. PONCA CITY IOOF Cemetery, on south Waverly, E Smedley Jan 14 1857 July 20 1924 L Smedley Jul 7 1848 Apr 5 1911 = = = = I checked for the surname in the rest of the cemeteries in the book, but no success. Also checked in the Regional Kay Co, Ok phone book - none there.
