Hello from a newbie on this list, I just recently found some family information about my Great Aunt, JESSIE LIDDLE. Her full name was JANET TAYLOR LIDDLE. She was born on Jan 4, 1869 in Leith, Midlothian, Scotland. She came to Churchill, Ohio, USA with her family in 1871. At some time (unknown date and place) she married a GEORGE E. WEBSTER. I have a quit-claim document concerning family land in Churchill, Ohio, which was notarized in Ponca City, OK in 1908. It was signed by both JESSIE and JOSEPH E. WEBSTER, which leads me to believe they lived there at that time. JESSIE is a "lost" relative. Until I started rooting around in the family forest, I didn't even know she existed. My grandfather, ADAM LIDDLE, also had 5 brothers, I have burial dates and places for 3 of them. It would seem they never married. JESSIE is my main hope for cousins. Any suggestions about how to find birth and death records, cemetery information, obits, anything? I live in western Pennsylvania, and doubt I'll get to Oklahoma any time soon, so I have to do most of this on the net. Any and all help greatfully accepted. Nance Liddle (nancyh427@aol.com)
