    3. Hi Bonnie, I would like to comment on this. The purpose of this mail list is genealogy research in Kay County. If a question is posed to the list, you would be doing a disservice to other members NOT to reply back to the list. As long as it is on topic, we can all learn. Even if it is not our particular family, there may be hints on where to look gleaned from other peoples research. Our mail lists are archived at rootsweb, and your answer may help someone later who is not on the list today. If a member doesn't feel he has time to read all the answers, then he could always subscribe to the digest version. It cuts down on the number of emails without losing the content.
