My great-great grandparents (Scott) are supposedly buried there. Or if anyone has information on the Riverview Cemetery & Church located west of Tonkawa on Fountain Rd and then south on 108th St, about 2 miles, I'd be grateful. My great grandparents, Sarah Elizabeth McGaha Scott Guilkey & Milton G. Scott are buried there (along with several other McGaha's). Thanks in advance, Deborah Sweet

Deborah - I hope you noticed my message yesterday to the Kay Co list explaining my delay in answering any look-up requests since early May. Anyway, what I have is the book, Cemetery Inscriptions, Kay Co, Okla, published approx. 1978 by the Pioneer Genealogy Society of Ponca City, Okla. The book is not indexed - rather, names are listed alphabetically in each cemetery, so persons of the same name may not be related or buried in the same plot, etc. The persons doing the surveys did make some notations of relationships that help. I found your people in RIVERVIEW Cemetery which was in the heart of the Cherokee Strip of Okla. Physical location is NW Section 22, Twp 25 N, Range 2 W - which is in the far southwest corner of Kay Co. The town of Three Sands is further east, on highway 177, at the border of Noble County.
