Connie - what I have is the book "Cemetery Inscriptions, Kay County, Oklahoma" published in 1978 by the Pioneer Genealogical Society, Ponca City, Oklahoma. BRAMAN Cemetery Anna Keller King Nov 6 1889 Mar 17 1939 Barry Kent King Apr 17 1943 Mar 28 1944 David King Feb 26 1887 May 10 1938 David C King 1844 1928 Leola King Aug 18 1906 Apr 7 1910 Martin E King Mar 29 1869 Mar 3 1942 Father Nancy J King 1851 1940 Oran King Jan 12 1904 Jan 14 1904 Pearl M King Dec 25 1881 May 19 1959 Mother As mentioned previously, the book is not indexed. Names are basically alphabetical within each cemetery, so there is usually no way to know if all of the same name are related and/or buried adjacent or in the same plot. Notice, there is no Edwin. Could he have died after 1978? Where do you live? I am in Wichita, and have been wanting to go to the Ponca City library to research. Bonnie, Think I missed something :-), but seems like you have the Braman Cemetery Book. If so, I am looking for any Kings that are listed. There is an area with a large stone that says "King" on it and if I remember correctly, several Kings are buried there. I know that Edwin King is buried there, but I would like to know who else is there with him. We live several hours away and I can't get down there easily anymore. Thanks, Connie

Bonnie, Reading the list I noticed you have a cemetery inscriptions book and was wondering if you would do a lookup for me. Second great-grandma's name was Nancy (Bisel) Moore. I have records showing she died in Three Sands, Kay Co. OK., 8 Aug. 1927 but do not know where she is buried. She lived with her husband in Cowley Co. KS. and I'm assuming he was buried there. After his death, according to military pension records, she lived in Tonkawa, OK. She had a son, William Henry Moore & wife Almeda, who lived in Braman for many years but moved to CA. around 1920. So, I'm assuming she was buried in one of those three towns. I'd appreciate anything you can find on her, and/or other Moores or Bisels in the area of Tonkawa and Braman. Thanks so much!.......Marilyn---CA.
