Funeral services under the direction of J.J. Stobaugh were held Monday afternoon at the Church of Christ with special music by a quartet from the Madill Church of Christ. Pall bearers were Charles Draper, J.D. Dunlap, Clive Murray, Jimmy Moore, Forrest Armstrong and H. D. Workman. Besides her husband, Mrs. Lynn is survived by three children, Elmore Lynn, Floyd Lynn and Deloras Lynn; two sisters, Mrs. Eula Abshire, of Shawnee, and Mrs. Myrtle Whitfield, Ardmore; and a brother, J.Y. Lampton, of California. All survivors except the brother were here for the funeral. Mrs. Lynn became ill about the first of the years, but her condition was not regarded as serious until only five weeks ago. She was taken to several hospitals and clinics, but became steadily worse. It was believed that she might have tuberculosis and she was taken to the tubercular hospital at Talihina, but diagnosis there revealed a heart ailment and cancer of the lung and she was returned home. Mrs. Lynn was reared in Oklahoma, livng for many years in Marshall County. She and Mr. Lynn were married in 1913, and moved to Tishomingo about 16 years ago. She was baptized into the Church of Christ at Madill a short while before moving to Tishomingo.. > > > This is an automatically-generated notice.
