VANISHING RACE This long newspaper article was written about the Choctaw tribe by Guy Augustus Crossett. He was the editor and publisher of the Caddo Herald from about 1904 until his death in 1948. He wrote this article probably 60 or 70 years ago or more. It contains a lot of Choctaw history and folklore. It was contributed byhis granddaughter Mary Arteaga, Anaheim, Ca.
