these are the directions I have Center Hill Cemetery, found in the extreme southwest part of Atoka County, is active, well fenced and a well kept burial site. To reach Center Hill Cemetery, from the stoplight at the corner of Court St. and Mississippi Avenue, in Atoka, go south on Hwy. 69, 11 miles to Voca Road. Turn west for 8 1/2 miles, south 4 miles, back west 1 mile, then north 1/2 mile. The cemetery is behind a little white church. ----- Original Message ----- From: "James Young" <jtjjy@surfree.com> To: <OKJOHNST-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, November 11, 2000 8:40 AM Subject: [OKJOHNST] Center Hill Cemetery: How to get there? > Hi Johnson's Lists, > Can anybody help me how to get to Center Hill Cemetery or Centerhill Cemetery, whichever is the right way to spell. I live in Pushmataha County and if I go to Hugo, Okla. "Y" section, go thru Soper, Boswell, Bokchito, etc., which directions I take to get to the cemetery. By the way, is Center Hill Cemetery in Folsom, Okla. or Kenefick, Okla. Please help me so I can get there. My great grandfather, John Henry Carter is buried there and I want to see his tombstone. Many thanks if you can help me. Thanks. Teresa from Pushmataha County. > > > ==== OKJOHNST Mailing List ==== > http://www.rootsweb.com/~okjohnst/ >
