For what it is worth. Back in the 1940 & 1950 There was a family of Fairchilds living at Roff, Pontotoc County, OK. They owned a Grocery Store. I believe the father's name was Lee Fairchild I don't remember his wife's name. They had three children as I remember. 2 Boys and 1 Girl. Boys were Dale Fairchild and the other one was called Sport Fairchild (nickname, I am sure) Girl was Cleo I think and I believe she married Elmer Young. Dale Fairchild is still living at Roff as far as I know. Mr. & Mrs. Fairchild, Sport and Cleo & Elmer Young are all deceased. Some buried in East Hill Cemetery, Roff, Pontotoc County, Ok. These are not my family but thought it might give you some place else to search. Good luck in your research.
