Rushings. Willaim Freddie "Bud" Rushing was a half brother to my Grandfather, Thomas Wiley Rushing. They had different mothers. Thomas' mother was Elizabeth Jane Jones, b. Feb. 18, 1880, d. Feb. 14, 1902. Their father was William Duke Rushing b. Dec. 12, 1872 in Red River, Texas. d. Jan. 2, 1944 in Tishomingo, Ok. His father was William (Preston) Rushing b. Jan. 23, 1832 in Tennesse d. July 18, 1914 in Bryant Co. Durant Ok. who married Lucinda Bookout b. April 17, 1834 in TN. d. Oct. 3, 1924 in Bryant Co., Durant, Okla. I have much more if your interested.
