    3. Jo, Why haven't we corresponded before? My grandmother, Nancy Callie "Louie" Dean Breeden Armstrong, was Cordie's cousin. My dad remembers Cordie and Ben. He's gone to bed now but he will be so excited when I tell him. My great-grandmother was Mary "Mollie" Raper Breeden. Her brother was William Francis Raper, Cordie's father. Louie was 2 years older than Cordie. I have more news. Our cousin, Betty Merle, who started the Raper Home Page, is more closely related than I am. Her father, Walter Summerfield Raper, was Cordie's brother. We have some unidentified photos that were given to the Oklahoma City Museum of the Raper family (that's what the folder said). One of them at least, my dad believes is Cordie. We discovered two which he says are his mother. My dad went to live with his grandparents in 1922 at age 11. He stayed in Emet for many years and got to know a lot about the Raper family. He is 88 years old and has an excellent memory. I live in Fort Worth. My dad's sister stayed in Emet and took care of her grandparents (Mollie Raper and Will Breeden) until their death. She then took care of her uncle Etta Breeden until 1969. We made many visits to Emet and on Saturday we would go to Tish, after my aunt took her Sat. bath in the galvanized tub. They had no running water or indoor plumbing until 1967. They got electricity the year I was born in 1954. I've spent many weekends and Christmases in Emet, Tish, Milburn, Devil's Den, the swinging bridge, etc. In fact, some of my best childhood memories are of Emet. I've copied Betty on this email so I bet she'll be getting in touch with you. Betty's coming to stay with me a few days before the reunion. I do hope I'll see you there. Check out the website. It looks like Cordie married a Wells, maybe after Ben died. I looked at your website. I want to check the photos later. I have to drive to Love Field tomorrow to catch a 730am flighty to San Antonio for meetings the next 2 days. I'm not even packed yet. I'll get back with you when I get home. I want to copy down some information from your GEDCOM.
