Her parents were Fredrick (Fred) and Mary Jane Tomerlin Emerson. Grandma was telling me a little about her childhood. She mentioned the town of Ego. Her father was a "peddler man that carried a pistol, and sold, traded and swapped from the back of his wagon. Is there anyone out there with any history on the small towns of Ego (which I don't think is there anymore) and Coleman? Does anyone remember hearing any stories told about the "peddler man"? Grandma is now 93 years old and remembers a little but can't find words to say what she wants to say. She is the last living child of Fred and Mary Jane. Any help is greatly appreciated
