EASTON because at least the two oldest children, Josephine and Grace, were not hers. I have not found a marriage for James and Margaret, or a death for his first wife, but Grace said her real mother died when she was a girl, old enough to remember. They lived near Tishomingo, or Emet, in Johnston County. Margaret and her first husband lived near there also. I have that record.
