Eudora Spear was my grandmother's (Ada Isabelle Spear Ferris)sister. They did live in Johnston County briefly, according to my father only for a couple of years then moved on to west Texas near Littlefield. My grandparents came to what is now Johnston County during Indian Territory days, my father is the last remaining child of 13 born to William Thomas Ferris and Ada Isabelle Spear. He will be 92 years young in December. I do not have much information on Mr. Watson but do correspond with one of his granddaughters. Eudora Spear was born 5 November 1867 and was the daughter of James Marion Spear and Martha Fisher Downey. She was born in Bowie County, Texas. I have quite a bit of information on the Spear family. I hope this helps you and it is something you are looking for.
