"Nita" Lilly 1926 - 2002    Juanita E. "Nita" Lilly, 75, a retired clerk at the Tarrant County Tax Assessor-Collector Office, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2002, at an Alvarado nursing center. Graveside service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Laurel Land Memorial Park. Burial: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Juanita E. Gardner was born March 13, 1926, near Ringling, Okla. She married R.E. Lilly in 1948. Mrs. Lilly worked for the Tarrant County Tax Assessors Office for many years, but was retired at the time of her death. She spent most of her adult life in Fort Worth, then the latter part in Joshua before entering a care facility in Alvarado. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1982 and a daughter, Anita Elaine Lilly, in 1954. Survivors: Daughters, Janet Green and husband, Lloyd, of Joshua, Marilyn Lilly of Joshua and Sharon Odom and husband, Johnny, of Crandall; grandchildren, Natalie and Nicky Odom; sister, Joyce Corthay of Crowley; niece, Cheryl Sisk and her family of Springtown; and nephew, Graig Corthay and his family of Crowley.
