It was the mid-1940s that I was at that school--during the WW II period. One other thing I remember, the school ran out of money and the teachers didn't get paid for the last month. Don't know if my mother ever did receive that payment, but no one cares any longer! Don't know if the school lasted very long after that or not. They had all twelve grades there.
