Both of them resided in Montague Co., TX; Belle in Ringgold. She was the daughter of Lewis W. Smith and Armenia Elizabeth Tolson, and the widow of Sam Stone. Perry was the son of Asher Walker and Nancy Ann Johnson. Supposedly Belle's parents didn't approve of Perry, hence the elopement. I'd like some confirmation of the marriage being in OK.
