This question is for all you veterans out there........My grandfather, Samuel V. BEENE, lived in Marlow, Stephens Co., Oklahoma during the 1940s. However, he registered for selective service into the Armed Forces before Board 2 in Chicasha, Grady Co. Does anyone know why he would go to Chicasha to register instead of staying in his own county? Is it because Chicasha is bigger? I'd like to start a discussion with someone who knows about the in-and-outs of draft/selective service during this time in our history. Keith Beene Murfreesboro, TN
