Hi Listers: It has been a long time since I have posted my surnames. Maybe someone new has been added to the list that might recognize these names: TAYLOR, VAUGHN, BUSH, HUGGINS, COOK, GRASTY, FITZPATRICK, MCWATERS, MCQUAID/MCQUADE, PEARCE, METCALF(E), NICHOLSON, BOUSE, SIMMONS, SPARKS, NORTHCUTT, RANKIN, POLLOCK, TIPPIT, HOLLAND, JENKINS, TURNER, HENSLEY/HENSLEE, WILKINSON, COMPTON. These families are from Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas, a 'touch' of Virginia, England, Scotland and Ireland. Would love to hear from you! Alice in Arizona

OK Historical Society has a newsroom where they have every OK paper on mf. IF you go in person there is no charge, but if you want them to do it there is...and it is more for out-of-state, I believe. Because of Genealogy Shoppe, I am at times given articles that people purchase at auctions or found at homes that they have moved into...I will be sending several emails trying to get various articles back where they need to be..with the family. This packet of photos I am looking for anyone researching the Imhausen (Imhauser) family. They are taken during the WWII era...I will want to know the given name(s) that served and you are researching so I can place these with the correct descendants. If you know places stationed please include them. Thank you Kathy
Thanks so much, Sheridan - twice even! <g> I'll drop a note tomorrow to you. Becky > >In a message dated 3/1/00 10:43:18 AM, dalton@nidlink.com writes: > ><< York, Rueben M. I am new to the list and first of all I have some things to offer. I had a great aunt who lived in Jefferson County during the 19 teens and the 1920s. When she passed away I was given several of he pictures. Some of these pictures were of people who lived in Jefferson County. Some of the names written on back of these pictures are: Katherine McHenry, Leslie Stowe, Dimple Adams, Ben Young, Mrs ??? Shanklin, Jenn Pool, Omega Nicholson, Thelma Cargill, Maude Culbertson, Katherine Jones, Mrs Abbie Cargill with her daughter Thelma. I also have picture of a building. On front of this picture it states "College Bldg. Ryan Okla". I also have picture of a girl's basketball team. There are 9 young ladies and a man in this picture. There is a basketball in the picture with the letters "RHS" written on it. Nothing is written on back of the picture. Last but not least I have a birth announcement that I am sure would be very important to someone. It has the following written on it: Ree Perry Snider, Born September 8th, 1913, Mr. and Mrs. C. Duane Snider, Waurika, Oklahoma. This birth announcement is in excellent condition. I would be more than happy to give this announcement to a direct descendant. I have no reason to believe that this person is part of my family. If anyone desires to have a copy of any of the pictures, contact me at carlton@cei.net and I will scan them in and e-mail them to you. I had a great aunt that lived in Ryan, Jefferson County. Her name was Mary M. Peniston who married a Scarborough. I desire any information that anyone has about her, such as her children's name and her husband's name. Carlton
