    3. Marion, I'll find the photos and send them - via email. Have you ever heard mention of Minnie Lee STEWART? She was my grgrandmother. Her, husband-General Jackson "Jack" YORK, and children moved to CA in abt 1925 at this point from Healdton, Carter Co. Also, I know there is a Maudelle in my OK lines. All the pics of Stewarts are mine. All the rest on the page are Sheridan's. She is the backbone of the Jefferson Site - I just get it up online!! I'll get back to you later with the photos! 2. Marian Pfenning
    3. Carlton - Those are wonderful photos! Thanks for sending them in, and thanks to Becky for putting them on line. Some comments, suggestions, and possible identifications: Irving School photo....There was a small Irving community west of Ryan, but I think this photo must be of a different Irving School....maybe a (Washington) Irving School in Waurika? I know a couple of people who grew up in Waurika - will try to see what they know about this... Thelma Cargill photo...says she married Cleve Largent. There's a P.C. Largent living in Waurika now....Pinckney Cleveland Largent, I think....The brick paving shown in the photo is on the east side of the old train depot (which now houses the Waurika Library) Second photo of BH building....I don't remember ever seeing that building....Three stories in Waurika!...possibly a hotel??? "Annie" photo...especially interesting to me because I have a "Dimple Adams" in my family....am not sure of the connection, but she looks just like early photos of my Aunt Hazel... Thanks again for sharing these. I'll let you know if I find out any more about them. Marian
