I am trying to find out more about my grandfather's family. When in died in 1941 in Wheeler Co., TX, his obit lists John Copeland of Ringling as his brother and Dora Copeland Billingsley as his sister. My grandfather is William Grant Copeland b. 1863 in MO. His mother was Mary Butts and his father was unknown Copeland. William lived in Ardmore OK from 1888-1904 but then settled in TX where he raised stock. Nora Mae Pollan daughter of John Cowan Pollan and Scharlotte Ellen Neel. I don't have a birth date or death date for John Mason Kennedy, but Nora was born on 1-19-1894. John was about 58 years old when he died in Norman, OK. My mother-in-law was b. to John Mason and Nora on 1-8-1928 in Waurika, OK. Any information on my Kennedy line would really be appreciated.
