Someone must have reported it as by tonight they had brought their price down AND were giving refunds to people who had bought gas at the high price Found it amazing that while our gasoline was ranging $1.90 to over $2 per gallon, our son filled up in Houston this evening for a mere $1.33 per gallon. Being a military town, Wichita has had a few more restrictions than some cities. And, having a smaller airport than OKC and Kansas City, there were 20 additional planes that landed here today. That meant 1000 more people than usual. When they ran out of hotel rooms, many people opened their homes to the travelers. Some people decided not to wait for airports to reopen and rented cars to drive to their destination. The result? No more rental cars available! Thanks for the hot line number! Anna married a John Hullum and lived all their married lives in Blair OK. But I don't know any more than that. My grandfather was born in Denton, TX 1873, his brother Bob in Montague County, TX 1870 and I don't know about Anna. I am still floundering so I don't know if I have a Adie/Ada Cannon in my history.
