    3. Bill, Terral is in Jefferson County. I'm not sure how many cemeteries there are, though I can send you some links to Jefferson County cemeteries that may help you in your search. When you speak of allotments, are you referring to Indian allotments? If so, I may be able to help you on that one. Let me know...... Links below.... Happy hunting. 1. [OKJefferson] O.C. WOODS of Hastings, OK
    2. M. elms
    3. Thank you all for the lookups and suggestions! You were very kind to try. I am beginning to suspect that O.C. migrated as an adult to Hastings from elsewhere in OK, perhaps only for a short time ca 1941. His brother John A. of Fort Gibson was born in Chandler in 1900, so I will try there (Bryan Co.?) John also had relatives in Bokchito (Bryan Co.) and El Reno (Canadian Co.) I have only begun to search!!! __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Try FREE Yahoo! Mail - the world's greatest free email! http://mail.yahoo.com/

    3. I have the 1910 census for Bourland, Hastings Town, Jefferson Co OK and I found no Woods with the names you mentioned. I also checked for Wood since census enumerators did not always write down the correct spelling of names. I would suggest you write Dick (dksamples@aol.com) and request he check his Jefferson Co pioneer families book to see if they are listed. Dick married a Wood/Woods so perhaps his wife may be familiar with the family. Good searching! Sheridan "M. elms" wrote: > > Hi, all. I'm a newbie on the list. 3. Peggy, I subscribe to Ancestery.Com and they have most census's on line. They don't have all index's yet. They don't have the 1900 on line yet. I found this Stanton family in the Wright township page # 3 South of Mud Creek. I grew up 5 miles North of Grady. At the time there were some Stantons living in the town of Grady. The census is very hard to read and I will put a ? by the name if I am not sure of the spelling. Stanton Cosper ? T. 52 yrs. born Tn. Father Dorg? E. 40 " " " Mother Mack 16 " " Ok. George B. 14 Ok. Rose A. 12 " May D. 10 " Barb ? A. 8 " Leonard F. 6 " Myrtle U. ? 4 " I will look some more later. Sam Cottrell Durant, Okla. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Peggy C.
