Roger MCELROY officiating. She was born July 22, 1922 in Spaulding to Callie Lillie (GEORGE) SCOTT and Roger Q. SCOTT and died Oct. 21 at her home in Spaulding at the age of 79. She was reared in Spaulding where she attended Oakdale School and graduated from Spaulding high school in 1941. She was married to James "Bub" LUCAS on May 17, 1941 in Holdenville. Mrs. LUCAS filled her years with caring for her children and grandchildren. She loved sewing, cooking, gardening and ranching and had lived all her life within half a mile from the place where she was born. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. LUCAS was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Callie SCOTT; her husband James "Bud" LUCAS; her son, Eddie LUCAS; and her grandson, Scott COFER. Survivors include her daughter, Frances COFER, of the home; two granddaughters and their spouses, Karla and Robert TAYLOR of Weatherford, Tx. and Carrie and Adam MCFARLAND of Wetumka; daughter-in-law, Ramona LUCAS of Spaulding; step-granddaughter, Lisa ZINK of Spaulding; three step-great-grandsons, William ZINK, Lane ZINK and Chase ZINK, all of Spaulding; and several other relatives. Pallbearers were David WINGO, Donnie BREWER, Danny LUCAS, Josh BLACK, Johnny MAYFIELD, Jimmy LUCAS and Billy J. LUCAS. Interment was at Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home of Holdenville.
