LEE Funeral services for James R. LEE were held Oct. 22 at the First Freewill Baptist Church of Holdenville. He was born Jan. 12, 1928 in Holdenville and died Oct. 20 at Holdenville General Hospital at the age of 73. He was married to Fern FLEMING on June 2, 1946 and she preceded him in death on March 20, 1972. He then married Odilee BRANSCUM and they remained married until his death. Mr. LEE's favorite pastimes were golfing, camping, fishing and watching OU football. He was preceded in death by his father, Roy LEE, and a brother Harold LEE, and three grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Odilee, of the home in Holdenville; sons, Ronnie LEE and wife, Evelyn, of Oklahoma City, David LEE and wife, Cheryl, of Holdenville and Mike BRANSCUM and wife, Tammy, of Haven, Kas.; two daughters, Cindy BARKSDALE and husband, Bruce, of Holdenville and Cathy ANDERSON and husband Monte, of Pawhuska; 11 grandchildren, Jeff LEE, Jennifer FLY, Harmony BRANSCUM, Matt ARREDONDO, Amber MOORE and Derek BARKSDALE, great-grandchildren, Garrett FLY, Xavier BRANSCUM and Rish ARREDONDO; two brothers, Charles and Kenneth LEE, and his mother, Mary LEE, all of Holdenville. Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home of Holdenville.
