Roberts HUNNICUT and Rev. Randy ZINN officiating. She was born Dec. 18, 1932 in Hanna to Monroe BURLESON and Ella May (SMITH) BURLESON and died Oct. 21 at the age of 68 years, 10 months and four days. She was married to Lewis SPEARS on March 8, 1950 in Eufaula and was a homemaker. Mrs. SPEAR was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Lloyd, Woodrow and Guy BURLESON. Survivors include her husband, Lewis SPEAR of the home in Dustin, two sons, Lewis Junior SPEAR and wife, Vickie of Moore and Jim SPEAR and wife, Leslie, of Clovis; three granddaughters, Shannon COCKBURN of Moore, Melanie COLE of Noble and Kristin SPEAR of Clovis, Ca.; one great-granddaughter, Camyrn COCKBURN of Moore; one brother, Elmer BURLESON of Selma, Ca.; and one sister, Lillian HOLLEY formerly of Dustin. Pallbearers were Robert ROBERTSON, Bill ROBERTSON, Frank BLANKENSHIP, James JONES, Dewayne KENNEDY and David SPEAR. Honorary pallbearers are Charles HENRY and Bob BRASHEARS. Interment was at Hanna Cemetery under the direction of Shuden Funeral Home of Henryetta.
