I am *still* looking for a missing woman. He name Martha "Mattie" Taylor Morgan Gamble Grant. She married Abner Wayne Grant in Conway County Arkansas in 1903. They were in Holdenville by 1910 census with a son Claud(e). Wayne moved back to Lonoke County Arkansas and died 1942. I do not know what happened to Mattie. The last information I have on her was the 1920 census (haven't checked 1930 yet). Mattie had 2 daughter by Gamble: Laura & Lona. I have been in some contact with their descendents but no information on Mattie. Someone must know something about her even if it is a story/rumor/tale that doesn't make any sense.
