Hi list, A part of the 1910 Hughes County Census is now accessible from the McIntosh County GenWeb page at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~okmcinto/Census/1910.html or directly at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~okmcinto/Census/1910/han105.txt and http://www.rootsweb.com/~okmcinto/Census/1910/han105i.txt These two parts comprise ED 105, which was Township 9 North Range 13 East, and became part of McIntosh County before the 1920 census. The census is very difficult to read, and I'm not familiar with the names in that area. So I'd appreciate any help making corrections that I can get. If you have ancestors in that area please let me know if I goofed up on their names. I'm working on ED 106 now, and it should be completed in a week or so. This ED comprises Twp 7 and 8 of Range 12 (which stayed in Hughes county) and that part of Township 8 North Range 13 East north of the river (which became part of McIntosh County). I'll post a notice to this list when it is completed, hoping to get help proofing that part too.
