J. E. KIRK, pastor of the Baptist Church of Holdenville and Rev. John FAULTNER of Seminole officiating. Burial was in Wetumka Cemetery under the direction of the Stout Funeral Home. Active pall bearers were: C. H. BASKIN, B. E. BRASELTON, Charles SHARBER, Bill SHARBER, Embrey CHOWINS and Bill NICKS. Honorary bearers; J. D. SHARBER, Lon TAYLOR, George APPLIN, Neal CARSON and Dr. G. W. DIGGS. Mrs. BEMENT died Sunday night at 11 o'clock at her home on East Frisco following an illness of several weeks. She is survived by three sons, Allen BEMENT of Lowell, Ark., Fred BEMENT of Durant and Joe BEMENT of Wetumka; and eight daughters, Mrs. Opal SHARBER of Wetumka, Mrs. Hazel SHEPPARD of Wetumka, Mrs. Nellie LAWRENCE of Wetumka, Mrs. Ruby BEMENT of Warren, Okla., Mrs. Ethel FRANKLIN of Lowell, Ark., Mrs. Gladys SHARBER of Wetumka, Mrs. Loy HUSBAND of Amarillo, Tex., and Mrs. Inez CREEKMORE of Seminole; one brother, J. F. BUSEY of Holdenville; three sisters, Mrs. W. W. JACKSON of Springdale, Ark., Mrs. T. E. DECKER of Broadwater, Neb. and Mrs. Elizabeth BUSEY of Fayetteville, Ark.; four grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Mrs. BEMENT was born in Booneville, Iowa and came to Wetumka in 1912. Local Residents Attend Funeral Mr. and Mrs. Ralph BUSEY and son, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde BUSEY and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. BUSEY, Mrs. John TURNER and Pete HAWTHRONE are among the Holdenville residents who attended funeral services for J. F. BUSEY's sister, Mrs. Hattie BEMENT in Wetumka this afternoon.
