JONES Died In Sleep Luther S. JONES, 74-year-old resident of the county for the past 24 years, died in his sleep Tuesday evening at his home, about eight miles north of the city. Funeral services are pending arrival of out-of-state relatives. The body will lie in state in Hudson Funeral Home. Born in Marion County, Ala, Jan. 12, 1871, came to the county from Danville, Ark. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. R. D. GARDNER of Cournna, Ontario, Canada and Mrs. Claude KELLEY of Wewoka; nine sons, W. S. JONES of Orange, Tex., B. C. and George JONES of Wewoka, PFC. Ben F. JONES, stationed in the Pacific, John JONES of Oklahoma City and Oda, Olen, Woodrow and Homer, all of city; and two brothers, Jack JONES, city and John JONES, Okemah.
