RUSSELL Funeral services for William H. RUSSELL were held Dec. 11 at the Draper Park Christian Church. He was born April 7, 1915 in Wetumka to William A. and Nancy ROBERTS RUSSELL and died Dec. 7 in Oklahoma City. Mr. RUSSELL was married to Celia BARNES on Sept. 17, 1936 in Kingfisher and they celebrated 65 years of marriage this year. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife Celia, of the home; one daughter, Lowana FRIDAY and husband, Ray; one son, William H. RUSSELL Jr.; two sisters, Wanda J. BLAIR and Lois F. MESSENGER; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of Oklahoma City. Interment was in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
