JAY Funeral services for Lowil Hl JAY will be held Thursday, Sept. 20 at 2 p.m. at Hudson-Phillips Chapel in Holdenville with Rev. Dale JENNINGS officiating. He was born Aug. 22, 1932 in Lamar to Lela (MAROON) and Tom JAY and died in Holdenville at the age of 69. He was reared in Lamar and attended Lamar schools. Mr. JAY worked since the age of 16 in the road Construction industry and was recently retired. He enjoyed fishing, boating and camping. He married Janice OURSLER and she preceded him in death in 1989. He was also preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Raymond and Bobby, and one sister, Mary GRIST. Survivors include six brothers, Harold JAY, Billy JAY, Ocie JAY and Jobie JAY, all of Holdenville, Burl JAY of Wolf and Tommy JAY of Newton Ks.; five sisters, Cora MOONEY OF Holdenville, Connie EMERSON of Seminole, Minnie STANFIELD of Henryetta, Velva WAGONER of Moore and Ruby WHIRFIELD of Independence, Or.; special niece, Terri JAY of Shawnee and several other nieces, nephews and other relatives. Pallbearers will be Elbert YARBROUGH, Johnny ROBERTS, Johnny JAY, Clifton JAY, Aurthur R. JONES and Dale BURTON. Interment will be at Holdenville Cemetery under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.
