Johnny CHESSER officiating. He was born June 8, 1926 to Bill and Mabel ROMINES and died Nov. 14 in Holdenville at the age of 75. Mr. ROMINES was raised in Snyder where he also attended school. He worked for many years as a roofer. His hobbies included fishing and dancing and could often be found enjoying time sitting on the front porch. Mr. ROMINES was a member of the House of Prayer in Wewoka. Survivors include three daughters, Marie WILLIAMS of Rush Springs, Cathy SOLOMON of South Carolina and Martha ROMINES of Ada; two sisters, Judy ELLIS and Josie MAYBEE, both of Seminole; eight grandchildren, Lloyd WILLIAMS of Holdenville, Gator SOLOMON and Denise Haugh WILLIAMS, both of Shawnee, Candy SOLOMON of South Carolina, Jeannie GILKERSON and Clint WILLIAMS, both of Waldron, Ar., Kevin WILLIAMS and Michael WILLIAMS, both of Chickasha; 15 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Charles, Kathryn and Ashley LAMB. Honorary pallbearers were Lloyd SOLOMON, Gator SOLOMON, Clint WILLIAMS, Michael WILLIAMS, Kevin WILLIAMS, Clifton GILKERSON and Charles LAMB. Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home of Holdenville.
