Meredith ROBINSON. She was born June 26, 1935 in Holdenville, the daughter or Minnie (ADAMS) LUCAS and Ed LUCAS, and died Jan. 17 at her home in Holdenville. She was reared in Shawnee until her family returned to Holdenville in 1949. She graduated in 1953 from Holdenville high school and attended Durant Business School in 1958-59. She was married to Joel “Babe” HEARN in Holdenville in 1956. He preceded her in death in 1970. She was married to James A. VANHOOSER in December 1983 in Holdenville. Mrs. VANHOOSER was employed as administrative assistant for 12 and a half years at Boyce Manor Nursing Home in Holdenville, retiring on March 31, 1998. Mrs. VANHOOSER was very creative and loved any kind of craft, especially quilting. Survivors include her husband, James A. VANHOOSER; sons, Steven Todd WYRICK and wife, Linda, of Ohio and Terry Jo HEARN and friend, Amy Gerich, of Houston, Tx.; four grandchildren, Kristopher WYRICH and Deidre WYRICK, both of Arkansas, Amy Diane PRINCE and husband, Monty and Jeffery Joel HEARN, all of Shawnee; one great-grandson, Denver Bryant PRINCE of Shawnee; her mother, Minnie LUCAS of McLoud; a sister, Mary Kathryn CARMICHAEL and husband, Gary, of McLoud; a niece Gayla CARMICHAEL of Barstow, Ca.; a nephew, Rusty CARMICHAEL and wife , Carla, of Dallas, Tx.; a great-niece, Katie CARMICHAEL of Dallas, Tx.; a special friend, Christie CARPENTER of Holdenville; three stepdaughters, Donna Kay UNDERWOOD of Lindsey, Kathy Lee BRASSFIELD and husband, David , of Chickasha and Linda BURCH and husband, Zachery, of Edmond; two step-sons, James R. VANHOOSER of Atwood David A. VANHOOSER of Lindsey; one brother-in-law, Neal VANHOOSER and wife, Betty of Lindsey. Services were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home of Holdenville.
